Meet the Makers

Chefs – Krystel & Craig Ogle

For Krystel and Craig Ogle, food has always been about bringing people together.

With more than 30 years of combined hospitality experience, they have built a reputation for creating memorable dining experiences that celebrate exceptional local produce, warm country hospitality and the simple joy of sharing a meal.

Craig is a qualified chef, while Krystel is proudly self-taught, drawing inspiration from family recipes passed down through generations. Together with owner, Camille Pearce, they lead the event team at The Barn at Glenrock Gardens, where they create unforgettable weddings, celebrations and special events, while continuing to run their café.

Passionate about seasonal ingredients and always inspired by their travels, Krystel and Craig have created an exclusive six-course degustation that celebrates the flavours of the New England High Country. They hope every course tells a story – because they believe the very best memories are made around the table.

Winemaker – Kyle Goodwin

After eight years in the wine industry, Kyle Goodwin relocated to Tenterfield and discovered a passion for minimal intervention winemaking. In 2022, he founded Knucklehead Wines, producing small-batch wines in the Granite Belt that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship and a willingness to do things differently.

For Wild Dining, Kyle will guide guests through a selection of expertly matched Knucklehead Wines, sharing the stories behind each wine and the region that inspires them—all with the belief that great wine is best enjoyed with good food and great company.
